In July 2015, WVMO began broadcasting out of Monona City Hall as a non-commercial, low-powered (LP) FM radio station with exactly 100 watts of power. WVMO is community owned, locally programmed and volunteer driven Americana music radio station. While bringing you homemade radio all through a pandemic, we became two-time winners of the Wisconsin Broadcaster’s Association Large Market Music Radio Station of the Year in the state of Wisconsin. Please enjoy this gift to our listeners and community- a free live-streamed, professionally produced concert experience with audio and video broadcast for your enjoyment from the comfort of your own couch.
Thank you to all of the volunteers and Watt Adopters that have made our first 5 years a huge success!
